Welcome to Bergeggi Diving School!
Bergeggi is a small town, its location is in the North of Italy, between Spotorno and Vado Ligure, near Savona, on the
western coast of Liguria. Just in front of the coast, at about 500 m, laying in the Ligurian sea, there is a small
island, known as “isolotto di Bergeggi”, which is becoming one of the marine protected areas of Mar Ligure.
Bergeggi Diving School is a diving centre where you can find every kind of comfort also for your “non sub buddy” (deckchair, beach umbrellas, bar, restaurant).
The diving basis is very suitable for large groups, with every comfort for divers - reception,
dressing room, classroom, hot showers - on the free beach of Bergeggi.
You can rent equipment and refill tanks with air, nitrox or trimix.
We organize courses from open water diver to instructor (SSI) and technical courses (TSA); it is possible to snorkel or try a discovery diving with one of our instructors.

The Diving centre is open all year round and the diving sites are interesting and varied: three different diving sites are around Bergeggi island, marine park. The maximum depth is 30 m, diving is fun and simple: the water is clear the most of the year and it is possible to find lots of coloured and typical Mediterranean organisms: nudibranchs, moray,eels, groupers, congers, octopuses and many others.
For experienced divers there are also many deeper sites: Bi Biz (45m), Bi Boz (54m), Banano (60m), Ramoni (54m), Corallo Nero (45m), Garage (32m), Marassi (38m), etc. In these places it is possible to meet bigger organisms like lobsters and sometimes very rare fish, like Mola mola, Zeus faber, Phycis phycis and Scyliorinus stellatus (a kind of small shark!).
For non divers Spotorno and Bergeggi offer beautiful beaches and sport activities (windsurf, parapendio, trecking and biking in the “Parco delle Manie”, walking through the small picturesque villages or along the “lungomare”, great tradition in sea food and typical Ligurian dishes.
Visitors can choose between a wide range of Hotels of different categories, bed and breakfast, camping sites,
flats for rent or residences. Packages hotel-diving are available at competitive prices.
Spotorno and Bergeggi are easily reached by car (Autostrada dei Fiori), railway (Stazione di Spotorno or Savona), plane (Genova or Albenga) and ferryboat (Genova and Vado).
